Customer Reviews

This is Jesse James – he is wearing the DMISOCHR Cat Harness and Leash Set in a size medium in the color Cyan. He tried like heck to get out of it and was unsuccessful. We are happy with our purchase.

She was confused by it at first but she seems fine and happy with it overall! 12-13 pound cat fit in just fine for medium size.

It’s a good quality harness, but let’s be real, what are the odds your cat will tolerate being lead around on a leash? I was certainly idealizing the concept when I bought this for my cat. Also, would not recommend for long haired cats.

It’s such strong material! The hooks are durable. I’m very impressed with this cat leash. And my cat doesn’t hate it! Sure, she flops down and doesn’t want to walk, but that’s on her. She’s lazy and entitled.

Wanted something so my indoor cat could explore outside without escaping!

This is extremely well-made as far as durability goes, but I feel it’s more for a medium to large dog, not a cat. The hook is so heavy, it’s too much weight around my cats neck. If the hook was half the weight it would be perfect. The rope is very lightweight and tightly secured so it’s well-made but the hook us dangerously heavy for a cat’s neck. So I’m sorry but I will be returning it . This should be sold for a medium to large dog.

OMG this harness is super cute and comfy. The design allows it to stay on while not hurting the cat. The previous one I got from another brand was either too tight or too loose and caused skin infection on my cat. This harness really seem to be comfy on my cat and still gives him the flexibility to do whatever he wants. I love the little bow tie in the front. My boy looks AMAZING in this as well hahah

My cat likes this harness so much more than a traditional webbing one. He goes outside for short periods so he has to carry i.d. His tag attached easily with an “o” ring. He weighs 11.5 lbs. and he’s small and fuzzy, a size M fit nicely. It’s a velcro and snap buckle so the harness is not going to break loose. There is no real thickness and he’s comfortable and doesnt try to remove it.Bonus- The harness coordinates well with my cats white gloves, shoes, and bib shirt, yes?

Although my cats not loving it, I do. It seems breathable and comfortable. My animal massage therapist (I know…) felt it wasn’t hindering him either. The purpose of this halter for me is the reduction of bird and bunny deaths. I’ve attached multiple bells . I feel the halter is a saver choice than a collar for my cats.

It looks nice but it’s not the best design. My cat slipped right out of it and it was snug on her. The Velcrow part even though fastened with a clip overtop, is annoying. I personally like my $7 adjustable body one from Walmart way more.

I have 3 cats and was expecting the leash to work on all of them. However, my bad, 2 of the 3 cats are large and will need a much bigger leash. It does work on my smallest cat. We are getting her used to it day by day. I only critique because i think they shud offer diff sizes for diff sized cats ! Otherwise, happy with produ t !

Fits snuggly and feels soft and comfortable. So far this is the only harness that he is able to wear and move around. Just need him to get used to it. He hates harness usually and would just stay stiff and wont move at all.

I spent an evening looking at harnesses and took a chance on this one, despite it having no reviews. I really like the construction of it. My one gripe is that it needs to be offered in an XL! The medium fit the younger cat like a dream, but the older cat is a huge kitty and while I could technically get the large on him, it was too snug for his comfort.

This is a video of his second day wearing the harness and look at him go! He is a 7 year old in door cat and he learned super fast!At first he didn’t like to put on the harness but after going outside a few times now he is ok with it. Only “con” is that he loved it so much sometimes when we comeback home he is meowing at the door asking to go out more! :)Tip: He “left” his harness once (it wasn’t quick, so we had time to pick him up and take him home) but it was because we were afraid to put the harness too tightly. After that day we put it a little tighter but loose enough to put our finger through it. If it was too tight I’m sure he would let us know since he wouldn’t feel comfortable and happy to walk around if that was the case.Go and have your “I can show you the world” moment with your kitties! So much fun! ;D

Exactly as described! Works perfectly and allows me (and Jack) to feel safe as we walk! I have a few of these and this one is definitely the easiest to put on him. Only word of caution, I purchased the large and it’s a snug fit. My cat is pretty big…about 19 lbs so if your cat is much bigger, just be aware.

The Petsafe Come With Me Kitty Harness gives you gentle, comfortable control of your cat or kitten, while allowing her to explore the world outside your door. The patented design allows for a gentle pressure on the leash to cradle your cat as you walk, restraining forward motion without harsh pulling or discomfort. The adjustable sternum slide allows you to create a custom fit for your cat’s body type, while the dual adjustment points on the girth strap allow a snug, safe fit. The shoulder straps glide through the two D-rings on the back, allowing an increase of tension (when needed) to restrain your cat without choking. The elastic bungee leash provides a little extra “give” to soften the effect of kitty reaching the end of the leash while walking. For the best possible fit, always measure your cat to get the right size. Measurements: Small: 9-11 in. girth; Medium: 10.5-14 in. girth; Large: 13-18 in. girth.

This product is great. It fits nicely and my cat doesn’t even mind it being on. He has feline asthma and can’t be outside for long, so this helps with several little walks. Great product and good quality.

This is not escape proof. Yes I followed the instructions to the letter. My little Houdini cat still got out multiple times.

My daughter ordered this for her birthday. We tried it with our cat in the house and he seemed secure. As soon as he got outside he was able to wiggle out of it with no problem

I started walking my kitten with this and now he is on the mid-size. He has been in training for walking from so early on that he walks almost as good as a dog. We walk around a mile a day and are slowly increasing that.It is probably the best harness for WALKING a cat on the market. Not staking them out in the yard, and not leaving them unattended. With that said though, there are a few things that could really be improved. First, I added a little adjustable thing to the wrist strap so I can adjust it to hold on my wrist even if I have to let go of the leash for a moment. Second, I added a loop to the wrist strap area to clip a treat bag with tiny water dish. Also, the belly straps can slide too loose over time and I kept having to tighten them back down until I finally wrapped a rubber band tightly around that section over and over to keep it from sliding loose.Like other reviews, I also find the silly rubber thing slides around much too easily and is pretty useless. I wish they used some kind of pinch lock type thing to hold it in place instead. And the biggest thing is, when my kitty gets stubborn and has to be tugged a lot (which he does about 50 feet on each walk at random points), it can pull out little tufts of fur on his shoulders where the straps tighten up. Since my cat is very used to the harness and doesn’t try to get out, I have sewn a metal loop in between the loops it has to stop it just shy of tight and pulling fur. It would be very nice if there was some way to have a pin-through adjustable thing for this…. or some kind of softer straps that would slip easily and not catch on his fur.

I normally don’t write reviews at all but after seeing some less than 4 star reviews of this product, I was compelled to write my thoughts. I have five indoor cats and one outdoor cat, who is always outdoors (I believe all cats should be indoors unless on a leash or otherwise safely contained, but she was a rescue who was treated poorly by other cats and has lived her whole live outdoors and when we brought her in it was a bit much for her and so she prefers to remain outside). We have a very affectionate orange tabby Manx, an outgoing Japanese Bobtail mix, a very active Abyssinian mix, and two very different Maine Coons. One is teeny and the other is rather difficult and not as fond of handling as the others. At any rate, these are THE BEST harnesses ever. Sure, if you connect it properly it can slip but I have found that you just practise a bit and figure out how it works and tighten to a finger’s width of space or so, just so the cat is comfortable. All five of mine absolutely LOVE them. Unlike a traditional harness, which only my one cat had ever liked, they walk around normally and jump and even run in these. They love the bungee leash because they can always move without feeling restrained and, should the need arise, they can comfortably pounce “prey” like bugs or leaves. Even when we watched my parent’s cat for a few months, an unknown brown tabby mix who is very feisty and independent and who loves to be outside but had never been on a harness or leash, LOVED it. Also great for car rides if you want added security! Our orange tabby struts his stuff and shows off when he has his on.All in all, they best we’ve found.I just don’t understand the poor reviews!

My cat got out of this harness. I had it pretty tight, but something scared him and he flailed and squirmed and was on his back. Suddenly he was running away and I was holding an empty harness and he was nowhere to be seen.Like another poster said, you’re going to have to practically strangle your cat to be safe, and even then it might not be tight enough. Luckily my story has a happy ending and he was hiding in my parking lot and ran out howling hysterically when I came over, but I got very, very lucky. A scared cat is ridiculously fast and you may never see yours again.

Escape proof? No.We took the time and care to train our cat, multiple times, in the harness inside the house and in our screened in back porch. We practiced walking in the harness and walking with the leash. The first time we took her outside, she pulled and escaped from her harness. Our 2 yr old, 7 pound cat has now been missing for over 48 hours because she escaped from a harness that was marketed as “escape proof.” I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THIS HARNESS AT THE EXPENSE OF LOSING YOUR BELOVED PET.

I especially enjoyed the instruction manual guiding how to introduce the harness to the cat and putting it on. It was a good experience.

This works great for both my cats- one that’s tall and thin and the other is thicker. Neither can back out of it and have started to walk normal in it. It’s very sturdy and they haven’t been able to do much damage to it.

I don’t ever write reviews but I went through four other cat harnesses that my kitty managed to escape from. This one is purfect and it’s adorable too!!! So happy with this purchase and so is my cat.

It fit perfectly. However my cat kept falling over to the left. She doesn’t realize she can stand up yet.

We have a 10 lb kitty and the medium fit pretty well. Our cat did not like her previous harness at all but she happily tolerates this one and allows us to put it on without much fight. We weren’t sure the quality since there were only a few reviews but we are very satisfied with the stitching, durability and detail. Our cat is a house cat that goes outside when we want her out, I dont know if this is durable enough to go hiking or adventuring in. For the typical house cat that wants to sit in and sniff the hostas, this is a great choice.

I purchased a Small and a Medium sized harness because after I measured Sable’s neck (6”) and her chest (10”) I wasn’t sure which size would be best and could always return the Small if it wasn’t big enough and use the Medium. The Small size fits her perfectly at the adjustment size it came right out of the bag. I didn’t have to adjust the strap at all.The Harnesses arrived June 12, 2020 and she has worn it 3 times and a total of 2.5 hours outside. She is 4 mos. old and weighs 4 Lbs.. previously I had wasted money on 3 harnesses (2 figure 8’s in different sizes and an H Harness in a size Small) she escaped from all the first time each was worn. This is my experience only with the size Small Rabbitgoo and yours may vary, but, I hope not. Putting it on her is way easier and less of a struggle than the other harnesses, there was struggle though, she’s a Kitten and has to learn the harness is a “good” thing. She tried to escape it once during the 1st 15 minutes of having it on and hasn’t tried since then. The construction of the Harness is very good in my opinion. I would buy this product again and recommend it to others. If she outgrows the size Medium one I hope that Rabbitgoo will have the same design in a larger size at that time.I could not rate the “comfort” of this harness as I’m not the one wearing it 😂. It does “look” comfortable on Sable.I hope the photos and slow-mo video help in anyones decision to purchase this product.Sable and I wish you all success with your harness purchase and lots of fun times outside with your Feline Fur Kid(s)!

We put this harness on our kitten whenever we take him outside in a pocket or for a walk. He doesn’t mind it at all.

It’s a great harness, comfortable and easy to put on the kitten. I’ve been training him for a few weeks now and he is getting comfortable with it now. My kitten is 11 weeks old and he will grow out of this harness on a few months but it has an adjustable Velcro so it’s very adjustable. Great quality too!

My boy cat is about 11lbs-12lbs and he is a masterful escape artist. So, I bought the medium. It looks a little snug on him, but I can adjust the tightness. It has a double security of velcro and a snap lock. He looks a bit squeezed, but there is no way he can escape. He went full bucking bronco at first and then fell over giving up. He now walks around he house in it, but makes sure I see how he can barely move his legs. Not true, cause I can slip my fingers in between all sides and the material is stretchy. This is a good price for the harness that includes a leash. The double latch on top where the leash connects looks good on the walk. But, when the cat is walking around the house unsecured, be careful because they could go under the bed and get it caught on things.

The step-in harness is easy to put on and take off. It fastens with velcro and a slide in snap so it stays closed. Our kitten is petite, so even the small size is a little roomy for her. Right now, we’re “taking walks” in the house to get her used to it so she doesn’t slip the harness outside and run off.The harness and leash are put together nicely and appear to be suitable for years of use.

My smart cat fairly EASILY ESCAPED from this otherwise nice harness. It would be escape proof as long as the lead is behind or on the side of the cat’s body and harness. However, a smart cat like mine figured out quickly that by facing towards me as I hold the lead, it fairly easily slipped over her head and forearms. This harness is for simple minded cat’s ONLY! I’m returning it and give 1 star because I have to pay return shipping for a product with FALSE ADVERTISING!!!

This is not escape proof. Yes I followed the instructions to the letter. My little Houdini cat still got out multiple times.

My daughter ordered this for her birthday. We tried it with our cat in the house and he seemed secure. As soon as he got outside he was able to wiggle out of it with no problem

This cat harness is the best one I have found… I have purchased many of them, just to find out that the cat can escape. We never had an issue with our sweet Nala cat escaping… I would highly recommend this cat harness!!! I just purchased a second one as my cat is now grown 1.5 yrs old and can’t fit into her old one!!

I purchased this after my kitten had been staring out of the window longingly for about two days straight. I wanted to take him outside so he could be with our other cats, which are all outdoor cats.He hates the harness and he hates being outside. I think it was just too cold for him. You can see how much he hates being outside in the photo of him climbing up my leg.The harness is very high quality and durable. The color is very cute and so are the strawberries. The leash doubles as a ribbon toy.Overall, I recommend purchasing.

Super cute but still big for my kitty. She’s 6lbs. The body Velcro fits perfectly, but the collar Velcro is too long so she wiggles her paw to get out.

Material was nice. Fit my slinky cat well but not my chunky one that I bought it for. If you buy this for a cat make sure their belly isn’t too round or it won’t fit.

Cool

Unfortunately we didn’t like this one. We have 6 other harnesses for cats, kittens and rabbits and this one has some pros but more cons than most.First, it must be put on over the head, there’s no snap or closure to allow for easier on-and-off. This means that you must force it on or off the pet’s head, and if you’ve not done the required training or your pet has any issues, this will become an uncomfortable fight. If you make it loose enough to go over the head easily, you must then adjust two shoulder straps to make it secure, or the whole thing is pointless. This adds time to the process of putting on and taking off – every time – unless you’re smashing it over the ears and head and uncomfortably pulling it off over them too. But if you take the time to adjust both straps before and after every on or off procedure, you might think that this translated into a more secure and safe harness, but it doesn’t. The neck design is not any more secure than other harnesses which have easier step-in or shoulder snap entry. In fact, the neck has very little adjustability so it makes for a less secure fit.Which leads me to con #2: the neck straps adjust in size much less than the stomach straps. So you’ll run out of adjustment in the neck and have several inches of straps just flopping around on the sides of the stomach. Most pets aren’t built like that, with a tiny head/neck and huge ribcage (I hope!). In fact this harness would only sort of fit one of the 4 kittens, and zero of 2 rabbits, after adjustments.Con #3: it’s really bulky and heavy for kittens, or small cats in size XS. Limits movement more than most others.Con #4: the elastic attachments on the stomach straps, meant to provide comfort, only increase the ability of the pet to fight and stretch the harness to get it off themselves.Overall, this does not compare well to others available. We’re returning this one.

Our rescue kitten was 12 weeks when we started using the harness. He does really great on it however they need to make an XXS size as it is a little big and can be backed out of.

This harness is very well constructed and seems durable. My cat is 12 pounds and I got the extra small; it’s the right fit for him.The only word of caution is about the color—the photo makes it look like the harness is red. It’s more of an orange hue, if that matters.
