Customer Reviews

I would do ZERO stars if that was an option. I had this collar on my cat for 4 days, it was loose enough to easily spin around and fit 2 fingers between the collar and her skin. This morning she was acting odd so I started checking her out and realized that the collar has totally irritated her skin and taken a significant amount of hair off! Her skin is raw bloody and irritated. We cut off the collar and I’m taking her to the vet tomorrow. I do not recommend this collar for anyone!

I was skeptical of buying this product since I read so many awful reviews and looked at the pictures of many beloved pets with sores around the necks but I took a chance and bought the product. I tried the expensive flea drops and nothing worked! 6 months my kitty suffered from fleas and it was driving him crazy! When the flea collar arrived we immediately put it around Kyo’s neck and it was awkward for him since he never wears collars and he was acting strange but after an hour or so he realized what it was, within 2 hours he stopped itching excessively. After two days of wearing the collar he stopped scratching. We checked his neck every day for the first two weeks just in case he was starting to get an allergic reaction. He was perfectly fine and he has been so calm and relaxed no more scratching! He’s been wearing the collar for a month now and I definitely recommend it! Just check your cats’s neck daily if you think he or she will be allergic. I’ll update this review if anything changes or it stops working within 8 months. Oh I also like the reflective pieces that attach to the collars! Too bad my Kyo ended up breaking them lolUpdate: the collar stopped working at 5 months. It was worth it and I will be repurchasing the product.Update 2: Repurchased the collar and the fleas died within a couple hours. Extremely happy with the product.

I put the collar on my adult male cat and after about 48 hours he starting exhibiting tremors in his head. His head and ears were twitching. Both of the main ingredients in Seresto (Imidacloprid and Flumethrin) list tremors as a possible side effect in addition to a number of other things. I removed the collar and within 12 hours the tremors stopped.

Frontline and advantage stopped working. Wasn’t sure what to do. One of my cats develops a rash when she starts getting fleas 😭. So I tried the Seresto collar. I remember thinking, there’s no way this collar works, but I needed to do something to stop the fleas. I Slowly introduced the collar, one cat at a time. Watching carefully for any reaction. I’d seen pics of some cats who’d had a severe reaction. Fortunately, all three of my senior cats did fine. No allergic reaction and it does kill the fleas. Been using the collars for about 4 years and have had no issues.

I bought these after finding a tic on our outdoor cat. I replace them every 6 months and haven’t had an issue with fleas or tics in the years we’ve been using them. I would actually prefer to use a topical, but it’s too difficult to make it work with outside cats and unexpected rains etc. So these are great, and MUCH better than the old tic collars, which only kept critters away from their heads. These are effective for the whole cat.

Unfortunately, one of my cats got very ill after putting this on him but my other 2 do fine with them. They work wonders for flea control. Highly recommend but watch your pet closely as they could have a sensitivity to the pesticides in the collar.

Overall, I liked the results, we noticed the difference right away, my cat is an indoor cat but she will occasionally venture outside and bring back some fleas, after placing the collar on her we noticed she is flea free. The collar comes in a good size, she is small so we did have to cut it a little to fit good, she doesn’t seem to be bothered by it at all and there is no strong oder coming from it so she got used to it quick.I definitely recommend it for indoor cats.

At first I didn’t believe that this collar really worked in a short time, so I let my dog use the collar before writing this review, it is working, I can see that the flea is reduced.I can’t believe that such a cheap product has such a good effect, so I use ants to do experiments, because ants are easy to capture. The ants were placed in a box with the collar, and the ants died in an hour. This is the same as bayer, but the price is so cheap. great product. worth buying.

Within 24 hours of putting the collar on, my cat’s itching was reduced by about 80%. It’s been about a week and she’s still doing great and sleeping much better and the excessive itching is completely gone. She is a large cat and we applied Frontline but it seemed to have stopped working by the time I applied the 6th monthly dose. I got this collar as a supplement to conventional liquid flea treatments, but if it keeps working this well , I may switch to just this collar to control fleas. Price is very reasonable and happy that it’s a breakaway design. Our kitty weighs about 15 lbs and I was about to switch to Advantage II before I tried this collar, but I’m sticking with this collar because of the great results alone.

I don’t know yet whether this will work as intended, but I do know that the smell is unbelievably strong. I don’t know how my poor cat is breathing. She smells like a funeral parlor, and although the product is supposed to be made totally of essential oils, I still wonder about what the odor is doing to me and my cat. Not sure I’d buy this again, even it if works. Also there’s no release if the collar should happen to catch on something and hang my cat by her neck.

Works well and is easy to put on our cat. Our cat has no problems with how it feels. Odor isn’t too strong as well.

My cat got very sick within a hour of putting the flea collar on. I removed the collar and gave him benadryl it took a little while and he was back to his old self. Be careful when using this flea collar.

My cat got very sick within a hour of putting the flea collar on. I removed the collar and gave him benadryl it took a little while and he was back to his old self. Be careful when using this flea collar.

The collar is so potent that it made me sick. I had it around my kitties neck for 15 minutes before I took it off and now her fur smells like it. I regret putting it in my cart just because it was branded Amazons Choice. I didn’t realize all the reviews were for another product completely. Merchants shouldn’t be allowed to replace products like this. it’s not honest. Will be returning.

I bought a harness for my dog, Paris, and was using her old lead but decided I wanted a lead to match her harness. The manufacturer of her harness wanted considerably more money for a lead than did Dogsays! So on line looking I went. Found this lead and bought it because it matched her harness and was a good price. I bought the 1″ wide lead. This is a great lead! You can see by the pix it is better than my dog Race’s lead. The handle is smaller than Race’s but it is the average size and fits well over my hand to lay on my wrist and lead goes down my hand, the traffic loop is higher up the lead which means I don’t bend over (I’m only 5’7″) when using it to walk her through the aisles at Home Depot. The double thickness assures me she will not break her lead when lunging after a rabbit on the running trail! LOL! Paris is 25% American Staff Terrier so her rear legs are VERY strong! It washes nicely. I would recommend this lead to anyone!

The collar was on my 7 year old cat less than 24 hours and she was crying so bad I took it off and that is when I seen her neck was burned. she is still missing hair around her neck and has a bad sore around her neck so badly I had to take her to the Vet for medication for the burn. I would not recommend this product.

This product poisoned our two cats – they were near death. Do not buy. $800 worth of tests and blood work that couldn’t point to anything. we removed the collars when all evidence came back that the only common factor between both cats becoming so deathly ill was the collar within about 1 week of wearing. They became listless, wouldn’t eat, couldn’t get in or out of the car box, acted confused, and were limp, and non verbal. Had difficulty swallowing. We thought we were going to have to put them down.within about 18-24 hours without the collars on, we saw improvement. It’s now been about 4 days without the collar- and they are normal again. These collars should be removed from the market. I’m convinced that they would have died had we left them on.

This product I can actually say does work every fall even though my cats are on flea medicine We tend to get a breakout of fleas These flea collars absolutely kill the fleas start at least a couple hours I would say and they continue to do so. I highly recommend even if you are using a topical medicine if you have a break out they do have a strong odor when you initially put them on but it does go away within the first 24 hours

I had bought this because it was the cheaper one compared to Seresto. If you have a lot of fleas it doesn’t kill all of them that get on your pet. I would suggest this more for if you have a inside pet. It does work just not 100%. For the price of the product compared to a 60$ flea collar, it’s not bad. Also I put one on my cat, and I can’t hold her up to my face and pet her because the smell of the collar is pretty strong.

Rolf fear and tick collar came in early 2 days and it was here . Collar is made well and sturdy with no Oder what so ever . It is very comfortable on my cat doesn’t even know she has it on . Love this product, would buy again and I will in 8 month , that’s twice as long as the cheaper ones that never work , so don’t spend your money on freaks , BUY ROLF FEA AND TICK COLLARS . 5 stars

This works just like the expensive versions for a lot less money. This is our second year using this brand.

I ordered these because Seresto has gotten so pricey. I just put them on my pets (all 15 of them!) We’ll see how the collars work!

This is what happened to our cat a day after we applied as directed. Our 16 year old, active cat went manic for a few days after the application and then crashed and spent days huddled in the basement. He hid from us in the darkest part of the basement. Two weeks after application and a trip to the Vet and he is just starting to be interested in eating and getting some attention from us again. His blood pressure went through the roof, he stopped eating and was like a zombie. He’s lost a lot of spunk. Our vet got him in better shape physically but he is not the same cat and we hope he comes back to his old self. At least he getting sleep and starting to eat. I don’t desire to be a alarmist and I know many animals benefit from having less parasites but our cat had a very bad experience with Frontline Plus, sorry. I would think long and hard about giving this to a geriatric animal. It was more horrible than I can say. This cat never had a product of this type applied. Update: It’s been quite a while since my review above but, I feel compelled to inform you about my completed experience with Frontline Plus for cats. The company that owns Frontline Plus for cats and who guarantees the customers satisfaction, refused to stand behind their product, even denying my Amazon invoice as proof of purchase because the package quantity on the invoice was somehow ambiguous to the customer service rep. After multiple calls and submissions they were completely uncooperative. I could care less about being refunded the cost of the product even though I spent 35 times it’s cost at the vet.I did not pursue it with Frontline because by that time my little buddy’s health was failing and he never recovered after using frontline. I buried him a little more than a month after the whole Frontline incident. I am not saying that the chemicals in frontline killed my cat directly but, that it exacerbated my old buddy’s demise.

Make sure after cutting off top and pulling back foil you read the product container to make sure it is for cats. I received 2 orders with the same lot #R41105AW and both were for Dogs weighing 45-88lbs. Notified Amazon and they have assured me that this product has beeen removed. Beware if you are purchasing from other sellers.

A few things to address when assessing this product and the other reviews:1) If you do some research on the internet, you will realize that different flea medications work better in different areas. Advantage did not work for us. Front line does. Just because this product may not work for your pet doesn’t mean it’s faulty or expired.2) If your pet already has fleas, this product takes at least three applications before it will start to work effectively. Our cat did have fleas and it took three applications. Fleas are no joke and always take time to get under control. Just because they don’t disappear overnight doesn’t mean it is faulty or expired.3) Fleas can become immune. Doesn’t mean the product is faulty or expired.4) It is toxic, obviously. There is a risk your pet could have a serious adverse reaction. It is a pesticide for goodness sake. You are taking a chance and weighing your options. It doesn’t make you a terrible person if you have circumstances where your pet having fleas would be terrible – like if you have a newborn or an infant and your pet is hellbent on going outside anyway. So there’s all that. With that being said, frontline is the only medication that works for us. We only use it half of the year and start it early enough to be effective by peak flea months, though the product recommends year round applications.

Directions
Do not use on kittens under 12 weeks old and less than 5lbs. Do not unroll collar until ready to use. REMOVE THE COLLAR FROM PACKAGE, UNROLL AND STRETCH TO ACTIVATE THE INSECTICIDE. Place the collar around the cat or kitten’s neck, adjust for proper fit, and buckle in place. The collar must be worn loosely to allow for growth of the cat and to permit the collar to move around the neck. A properly fitted collar is one that, when fastened, will snugly slide over the pet’s head. Leave 2 or 3 inches on the collar for extra adjustment and cut off and dispose of the extra length. The collar will begin to kill fleas, ticks and flea eggs and larvae immediately. Its full protection against harder to kill ticks will be built up within a few days after being placed on the pet. For continuous flea and tick protection under normal conditions replace the collar every seven months. Under conditions where pets are exposed to severe flea and tick infestations, it may be necessary to replace the collar more frequently, however, do not replace the collar any earlier than 5 months. Wetting will not impair the collar’s effectiveness or the pet’s protection. If the pet goes swimming or is out in the rain it is not necessary to remove the collar. The collar may be worn with a regular collar.. Store this product in a cool, dry place that is inaccessible to children.

We tried to save money by using this flea collar. BIG mistake. My cats have been wearing them for 3 weeks, and they still have as many fleas as they did before. The smell is HORRIBLE – almost unbearable!!! And before you answer with your scripted “you have to treat the whole house”answer, WE DID! For those who are saying the collar works great, I can only wonder how much money they were paid by the company to say that. DOESN’T WORK!!!!!! My poor cats have to wait until the Seresto collars arrive. Used those before…. They 100% work – WITHOUT having to treat the house. I WANT MY MONEY BACK, PLEASE!!!!!

UPDATE It does not work immediately, but over time (7- 10 days, at least) has helped to control fleas. In conjunction with staying vigilant – washing bedding, vacuuming, use household spray on sleeping areas, etc. I would probably buy this again. And am thinking of using on my two dogs instead of the shoulder drops.I put this on my 8 month old indoor only cat. I read comments that it worked instantly, no more fleas and I thought, GREAT, that’s what we need. Put it on…. Next day, I saw fleas on my cat’s face!!! The fur on his face is white and it’s very easy to see the fleas. I’ve given him baths, used peppermint spray on him, I’ve washed bedding, rugs, etc, vacuumed, sprayed, sprinkled diamtomaceous earth, even the shoulder drops — to the point I worry I’m poisoning my little cat while fleas are flourishing!

I have 5 indoor cats.Keeping the fleas off is #1, of course, but budget matters, too. These collars really work and are easy on the wallet.I have purchased several sets over 3 years. No fleas at all,no bad reactions and they stay on. What more do you want? I have no idea how they work for outdoor cats, but for my indoor ones, a real Godsend!

I have 2 cats, both indoor 100% of the time, for the past week or so they both have been clawing, and on 1 we removed 20 fleas at once, I got these collars and immediately put them on them and overnight.. no more scratching, and they haven’t scratched since.. its almost magical, so.. I reccomend vehemently!

I bought this to try on my very special Maine Coon cat Baby. H was a feral cat when he found us years ago, although tame now he’s a serious Hunter! We live in a rural area, 80 acres in the ADK, ticks are our life and he was the one who always had them. Thought I’d try this collar. So far no ticks and he has managed to not remove it! Passed the test! I would purchase again. Only draw back is the smell that has disappeared.

Our cat has been wearing the flea collar for a couple weeks now. I check often to make sure no allergic reaction around the neck (as another had caused one in the past) and so far all is good. The collar has an organic odor, but it’s not offensive. The weather is still cooler here (April in WI) but so far the collar is working well. Also, The company says they will donate $3 to an animal welfare (not sure which one) for every collar purchased 😊.

LOL! Paris is 25% American Staff Terrier so her rear legs are VERY strong! It washes nicely. I would recommend this lead to anyone!

*June 30 Update*During the days he had it I saw a decrease on fleas and did not find a flea around his neck/face/chest/head area. The comb is super useful to take off any fleas and flea eggs. I use water with dawn dish soap to comb and also drown the fleas on the mix. My cat took off the collar so I have to put the 2nd collar who knows where! hope he doesn’t take it off again. Will update again.Just received the collars. I’ll update once I’ve tested it out on my outdoor cat (:

As an indoor cat, my cat will not stay outside for a long time; considering the possibility of encountering fleas, I bought Fipukin collar for the cat to ensure that the cat can be effectively protected. Now it seems that this product is Effective! Because my neighbor’s cat has already suffered from fleas, but my cat hasn’t! I’m glad I made a wise decision

Our cats haven’t had a negative reaction to these, as they have every other flea collar I’ve tried, so that’s a big bonus. You can smell the citronella, but it’s not overpowering and the cats don’t seem to be bothered by it. They are still itching, but it’s only been two days. I’ll update if anything changes.

My two cats have been wearing these since April 2020. I know they are probably not effective now, but I left them on the cats because they give me a good easy way to hold them still while I’m attending to them, or checking their teeth, etc. I will buy new ones in the spring. I also bought a 3 pack of flea spot on treatment like I always buy, but this year I did not put it on to use it along with the collars. I just wanted to be sure they were protected in case I needed to use them, but I did not.

Worked great on fleas.. Ticks… Flea eggs.. Ect.. The little tick spinner things work great too. My cats had zero side effects.. So I recommend this product to other cat owners.

Great value. Have been using for a couple of year. Not a tick or flea or mosquito on my cat and she goes outside often.

Have had on cat for a week now and he still has fleas. Product doesn’t work

Worked for fleas on our outside cat.
